We used to allow Nakka and Lidarts only, then GDL came along so we allowed all 3 of those, however, the amount of effort required to gather stats from other systems is astronomical. People had to submit a screenshot of the result in a form inputting the competition, grade, division etc. - they'd often get even that part wrong, which was a ball ache to work with in itself but each match has 16 individual pieces of data being collected. That led to errors and a lot of time taken up.

GDL is currently the only approved scoring system for every event we run.

It's important that players get this right. This covers their asses in case someone questions something. If you call 140 and you've removed your darts before they ask for confirmation then you've got nothing to protect yourself.

Enter the score, then retrieve your darts.

While there isn't a set timescale, it's encouraged that support is sought as early as possible. We want all matches played.

If a player is going to wait until 10pm on deadline day before they ask for help, that's pretty shitty. Basically by doing that, they're, claiming a walkover which is low. We need to be telling new folks that they should be proactive with this kind of stuff.

If a ticket is raised about a player not turning up to a knockout match, that player is withdrawn from the competition.

The action is taken without bias. We're not going down the route of what's acceptable or not acceptable for it to happen. Budgie died, flat tyre, broken computer, footy match went to extra time - doesn't matter.

If the ghosted player agrees to reschedule and not raise a ticket, they can't moan about it after the match is played if they're knocked out.

We remove 2 fixtures. It's not sensible to be taking all those actions because they'd have nothing to play for and won't bother making an effort to complete the season. More info in the GDL guidelines under the heading "If you can't play your League games to schedule"

You're not limited to only doing one of these things. It's kind of a process.

Ask for it to be made right and if they can't, don't play. If you refuse to play it, we need a ticket with pics of their board so we can get in touch with them to work through the issues.

You can't moan if you play it and then lose.

Nope. The league isn't based on tour grades. It's based on Statman Dan's special sauce including, but not limited to, averages and previous performances in competitions in relation to other circumstances

We don't care who requests the extension, so long as it's done (and done properly). It's advised that, even if you're not the one needing the extension, you raise your own ticket to cover yourself.

It's always a good idea to raise a ticket to cover yourself. If the other guy doesn't raise a ticket and you leave it, you WILL be timed out. Don't let that happen.

It's important to ASK them if they're okay with it rather than TELL them it's happening.

At the end of the day, a late game directly impacts on the available time in which the match can be played. That's not their fault. If they're not able to fit in with the new schedule then you don't get the extension. Everything else is a specific requirement.

2 points docked. This was announced before season 19 as a deterrent to people ghosting others. The points deduction only happens if we know about it - players need to raise a ticket if they're not happy about it. If they don't tell us about it but then have a moan after the rearranged match is completed then we won't be taking action.

The match still needs playing though so the players need to rearrange between themselves.
