GDL League Season 17 Division Allocations

The divisions are locked in! The table below shows your division for this league season.

With different amount of entries and different distribution of player ability amongst the cohort, you may find that the number of your Division ‘has gone down’ compared to Season 16. This does not necessarily mean you’re in a Division with a lesser ability.

Players are assigned their Divisions for League seasons such that players are “closest to” when the season starts. “Closest to” includes consideration for average, previous results, very recent form and a special blend of GDL spices.

Divisions and Tour grades are not linked. For example, there is no such thing as a “Gold Division” as there will be divisions with players from the bottom end of one Tour grade and the top end of the next Tour grade. Players may also may move Tour grade during the period of a League season, which means the term “Gold Division” or any other Tour grade label is inaccurate.

Nobody has been ‘promoted’ or ‘relegated’, just reallocated😊
