Much-loved GDL player Mark Marlow recently lost his beloved wife, Julie. Julie was a fantastic lady and had great character. I was only lucky enough to meet Julie once, however, it was very clear to me that they both had a world of love for each other.

We are running a competition in Julie’s memory to support Mark during this difficult time and help him with necessary costs.

The competition goes entirely against the GDL M.O., but let’s have some fun!

It is a completely open competition in terms of gradings. Can the minnows bring down the giants? Let’s see!

Extensions are not permitted and the GDL’s decision on timeouts/walkovers is final. Stats from this competition will not be included in your overall stats.

Prizes

The furthest player from each of the 6 grades will win a £20 GDL voucher to spend with the GDL or at any of our voucher partners.

If more than one player in the grade finishes the deepest into the competition (the same round) then a draw will be made to determine the winner of the voucher.

The winner of the entire competition will receive a bonus £30 voucher, meaning that their prize voucher totals £50

All proceeds (minus Just Giving costs) will go to Mark Marlow.
